Student Council

Destiny Community School is proud to have an active student council. Leading student council meetings are the elected officers; President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Events Committee Chair, Historian, Classroom Representatives, and Advisor Mrs. Day.

Student Council Officers (5th-8th) will meet in the Student Council/PTSO Room every 1st and 2nd Monday at 12:20 pm and 3rd and 4th class rep's will meet the 3rd Monday at 11:50pm. All student council members (5th-8th) will meet the 4th Monday at 12:20pm. Student council is responsible for positively impacting our school and our community by planning school wide activities and special events to build and maintain school spirit and community service.

Goals emphasized include; learning about student government procedures, developing and fostering school spirit, and promoting good character. All student council members must keep an approved GPA.

The 2011 Student Holiday Store.

Your student can pick out wonderful presents for mom, dad, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and even their teacher.

The Student Holiday Store will officially open on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Your students may only shop if they have a signed permission slip or a note from mom or dad giving them permission.

Shopping times are:

5th-8th Grade Wednesday's 12:30 - 12:50

3rd - 4th Grade Thursday's 12:05 - 12:25

K- 2nd Grade Friday's 12:30 - 12:50
